Predictions and Prognostications
It's been a while since we rolled the dice and stuck our neck out here at blogdai. Time for a few predictions: 1. The Maoists will break off peacetalks sometime between now and Dashain.
2. Madhav Kumar Nepal will align himself directly with Maoist philosophy.

3. Old man Girija Koirala will die within a year.
4. Sujata Koirala will assume the prime ministership.
5. The current Koirala parliament will never hold an election for anything.
6. Paras, not the King, will go into exile.
7. The RNA will allow Maoists to seize government before they act.
8. James Moriarty will resign as U.S. ambassador within 9 months.
9. India will not act against any Maoist coup attempts, attrocities or actions in Nepal.
10. China will ally with the guns and tacitly support the Maoists.
Some fun, eh? blogdai has been batting a little better than average in the prediction department, so look out Nepal, chaos is on the way.

OK,here are my predictions....
1-Within 12 months the King will appear in public in full military uniform.
2-yes GPK will be dead within the same 12 months.
3-If the Maoist try to take over the government the King will not allow it.
4-The 1990 constitution will not be changed.
5-the Supreme Court will rule that the proclamation of the House of Representatives is null and has no legal force.
6-The next PM will go to the palace to take the oath of office in front of the king.
7-the SPA and the maoist will not form a government.
8-Paras will not go into exile.
9-the King will not go into exile
10- Nepal will not be a republic.
It will be interesting to see how many of my 10 predictions do or donnot come true.
I like your 10 better, but the patterns of the past lead me to be more of a pessimist.
Your number 7 is something we see together, though.

Blog dai, I was thinking that you will fall down together with Killer King. Now I can believe that King Gyane is still funding bloggers like you. One day you will commit suiside. Take care.
I was also thinking about a big stretch prediction--now that people are taking to the streets ofver the same old inept governmental practices:
11. The Koirala parliament will never provide or enact a meaninful program or policy.
If punishing the former administration were akin to good public service, then Koirala would be a Roosevelt.

My predictions (with 100% certainty)
1. Maoists will learn from their sister terror organization, the LTTE and go back to violence (they are doing it even now).
2. Maoists will disintegrate into loose groups of criminal gangs thriving on organized criminal activities similar to Russian Mafia.
3. Nepal will suffer huge brain-drain
4. GPK will die having achieved nothing worthwhile (in his whole life).
5. Army will take increasingly active role in Nepali politics similar to that was in Thailand.
100% certainty is bold, but I wouldn't bet against you. This is a solid list.

100% certainty was, of course, bit of tongue-in-cheek, but given Nepali Politicians are so dumb that they ask for directions even when falling from "Dharahara", blind Freddie can see that they will mess up the country again.
No wonder Maoists are taking them for a ride. With psychopaths like Baburam leading the Maoists, they will stop at nothing short of destroying the social fabric of the country (and ruin it) to show that he/they is/are capable. The inferiority complex of this man has no bound.
The bottom line is.. we are facing a very rough time ahead and any prediction made that in mind is most likely will come true.
With everything that is happening in Nepal.......what is there to comment? Educated idiots like us will just sit and sit and sit.....on our arse.We talk but don't do. We just bitch.
